SJMADE Summer Fair 2025

 

San José Made will be holding its 3rd Annual SJMADE Summer Fair on July 19-20, 2025 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This is going to be a large-scale, super fun, potentially super funny indoor summertime festival featuring 300+ makers, artists, designers and creative small businesses (more info TBA).

This event is free admission to attend. Free on-site parking is available (please read the parking info on our event page BEFORE attending the event). All ages welcome. Featuring activations by Mini Cat Town, Y2K Glam Shotz Photo Booth and DIY workshops & activities to be announced.

Event Details

  • This event is free admission to attend.
  • This is an indoor event. The venue is a modern venue with functional A/C. However, because there will be a significant attendance at the event and due to the extremely hot weather outside, it may feel a little warmer in the venue at times. We recommend people come to the event hydrated and with either unopened bottles of water and/or an empty canteen to refill at our water stations.
  • No outside food & beverage will be allowed into the event EXCEPT for unopened bottles of water and empty canteens. There will be water stations located at each info booth (located at both entrances into the venue) for getting refills or bottles of water. 
  • The venue will have its concessions areas open. They will offer sandwiches, salads, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Our vendor lineup features an exciting array of desserts, baked goods, packaged food and snacks vendors. Unfortunately, due to venue rules, we are not able to bring our own food trucks and cooking food stalls.

Pet Policy

  • Per the venue's rules, strictly only service animals are allowed inside the venue. The venue's security team will ask any non-service animals to be removed from the venue if they encounter any.

Parking

There is free on-site parking spaces available at the Santa Clara Convention Center's Parking Lot (5001 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA) as well as its Secondary Parking Lot on Tasman Drive (2525 Tasman Drive, Santa Clara, CA). You can view the image to get a sense of where these lots are located in relation to the actual Convention Center building. 

Additional Parking Notes:

  • The drop-off zone and accessibility parking area are located directly in front of the Santa Clara Convention Center near the main entrance (view our site map here).
  • If you enter the venue from Great American Parkway entrance near the Hyatt Regency, you should see the main parking entrance straight ahead once you turn into the venue.
  • If you somehow find yourself circling the parking tower on-site looking for the main entrance, you'll see a few PERMIT ONLY entrances on the ground level of the parking tower. You will NOT be able to access the lot from these entrances. If you see these PERMIT ONLY entrances, please continue circling the lot until you find the main entrance. 
  • There are some spots marked for the Hyatt Hotel's Valet Parking on the ground level of the parking structure. Your vehicle will be towed if it is parked in one of these spots.
  • If the Santa Clara Convention Center Parking Lot and the Secondary Parking Lot are full on any of the days, we recommend viewing the lot options here. Please note that these options may be closed or may be paid options.

Accessibility

  • Accessibility parking is available at the front entrance of the Santa Clara Convention Center near the drop-off zone (and front doors into the venue). View overhead diagram.

  • SCAM ALERT: Please feel free to share with any of your fellow vendors or vendor communities. We have seen a reported increase of instances on Facebook and Instagram of people attempting to scam prospective vendors by purporting to be "selling" the last few vendor spaces for the event. In many of these cases, the scammer asks for payment via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or some other form of digital payment after filling out a Google Form. Please note that these people (i.e. the scammers) are not associated with San José Made in any way. We never sell vendor spaces through social media direct messages or even text messages for that matter. We only sell vendor spaces through our official website (sanjosemade.com). If you ever encounter communication online from a non-SJMADE account purporting to be associated with SJMADE, please feel free to contact us at either events@sanjosemade.com or info@sanjosemade.com. We would be happy to verify for you whether or not the communication you've received has officially come from us. Please note that we cannot honor any vendor booth spaces that were purchased through channels that were not ours.

Mini Cat Town Kitten Lounge

Reserve your kitten lounge time slot in advance

One ticket will secure 15 mins of kitten playtime at your designated time slot. There will be 30 adoptable kittens on site looking for pets and cuddles! There will be a few walk-in tickets reserved for each time slot, but we highly recommend making your reservation in advance. 

Your order confirmation is your ticket entry. Tickets will not be shipped out. Tickets are non-refundable. Any child under 12 must enter with an adult (two tickets will be required in this case).

If you have a ticket and there is a line to get into the event, please proceed directly to the entrance and show the staff your ticket so you don't have to wait in line and potentially miss your time slot.

All visitors will be required to wear shoe covers and sign our liability waiver.

Mini Cat Town is a nonprofit 501(c)-3. All donations are welcomed and go back into saving more kittens. Since 2019, Mini Cat Town has rescued and adopted out over 1,500 kittens. Adoption lounges are located in Eastridge Shopping Center, Stoneridge Shopping Center and Santa Rosa Plaza. For more information, please visit https://minicattown.org.
