“My name is Martin and I am the founder and designer of OSTRI. I set out to create meaningful products with soul, which are inspired from my love of the outdoors. Ostri is a mixture of old fashion leather hand work with the precision of industrial processes.
The use of wood in certain products is a tribute to nature while the use of upcycled leather in others, is a reminder of working towards a more sustainable future. Each product is set out to be a timeless design that is both functional but also repairable. Some of the leather used is sourced from my hometown of Santa Cruz with everything being made and designed in San Jose, California.
